Kyle Lyddy is a marketing and communication professional based in Newtown, Connecticut. His specialties include event marketing, management, and operations. Recently, Kyle has taken a leadership role at Omaha Beef Company. Kyle is also the Director of Brand Experiences & Sales for Cooper Marketing Group, Inc.
Omaha Beef Company is a wholesale food service distribution company. As the vice president and owner, Kyle Lyddy is responsible for overseeing a staff of over thirty employees, managing the organization of teams, and handling all critical operations tasks. Some of Kyle’s additional tasks include crafting marketing materials, drafting internal forms, tracking customers, working with accounts receivable, and taking in new orders. Overall, Kyle’s priority is to develop sales teams, grow profit margins, and develop relationships across the regain, as the ultimate goal is to enhance Omaha Beef Company’s reputation.
Kyle Lyddy signed on to Cooper Marketing Group in 2018. As Director of Brand Experiences & Sales, Kyle creates systems and outreach procedures to grow sales. Likewise, Kyle must work with current customers to develop new growth opportunities, attend programs, and even manage trade shows.
Prior to his current position, Kyle Lyddy worked with dozens of companies and organizations. One of his earliest roles was Program Director for Newtown Youth Academy. This led to Kyle landing a role as Supervisor for Amplitude Marketing Group. This was the first of several titles he held for the organization. Next, Kyle moved on to Match Marketing Group (Supervisor, Brand Experiences).
In addition to his many business initiatives, Kyle Lyddy has been involved in several political campaigns. He was part of the Oz for Gov (Connecticut 2018) campaign. During this time, he acted as Campaign Manager for an Independent Candidate (Oz Griebel) running for Governor of West Hartford, Connecticut.
Kyle Lyddy is an individual who is always engaged in his community. He’s involved with everything from setting up events that benefit individuals at SWIM Across the Sound to being chairman of the Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial Commission. As part of the commission, Kyle is working alongside eleven other volunteers to establish the nature, location, and funding of a permanent memorial for those lost during the Sandy Hook School shooting (December 14, 2012). Meanwhile, SWIM Across the Sound is a golf tournament St. Vincent’s Medical Center hosts.
This is one of many volunteer positions Kyle Lyddy has held. In 2012, Kyle co-founded We Are Newton, a scholarship program, to help raise money for Newtown students. The goal was to help students following the Sandy Hook tragedy by providing them with a clear path forward. Likewise, Kyle founded the National Association of Collegiate Basketball Managers in 2010. This networking group is designed to help unify basketball managers nationwide, providing advice, connections, and more.
Throughout his life, Kyle Lyddy has enjoyed various social and physical activities. He was a student manager for the men’s basketball team at the University of Connecticut. Kyle later wrote a novel about his experiences titled From My Seat. In other words, Kyle has always enjoyed being a team player who enjoys sharing his views.
